Senior Project Manager

TTP is looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale Data & AI Governance initiatives for an Ontario Public Sector client. **Location:** Downtown Toronto (5 days/week onsite) **Contract:** 8 months with renewal **Rate:** $120/hr **Important – Must Have** Candidates must clearly demonstrate recent experience in: – Data & AI Governance initiatives – Azure Data Platform (Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL Warehouse) – AI / Generative AI / LLM-based projects – Large-scale enterprise project delivery (multi-year, multi-million-dollar) – OPS or similarly regulated environments **Role Overview** Lead complex enterprise Data & AI Governance programs from initiation to delivery, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder alignment, and successful execution across business and technology teams. **Key Responsibilities** – Lead end-to-end delivery of Data & AI Governance projects – Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and resources – Establish governance structures and executive steering committees – Coordinate business, IT, privacy, legal, vendor, and communications teams – Ensure compliance with OPS standards and delivery frameworks – Provide executive reporting and strategic program leadership – Develop key artifacts (business cases, PIA, TRA, RFS/RFI, etc.) **Must-Have Experience** – 15+ years in Data & AI strategy and execution – 10+ years in enterprise project/program delivery across business & IT – Strong knowledge of Data Governance & AI Governance frameworks – Experience with Azure cloud data ecosystem – Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience – Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Visio, Teams, etc.
