Pay Range: $100–$110/hr (depending on skills and experience)

Stafingo is currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager/Project Leader for a large-scale enterprise application delivery initiative in a complex, multi-stakeholder technology environment.
This is a high-visibility delivery leadership role responsible for managing end-to-end execution of a major application modernization program involving multiple business units, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in enterprise IT project delivery, governance, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination, ideally in government or large-enterprise environments.
Role Summary
The Senior IT Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle delivery of complex application implementation initiatives, ensuring alignment with approved scope, schedule, budget, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
You will act as the key delivery lead responsible for driving execution across business and technical streams, ensuring successful coordination between internal teams, vendors, and senior leadership stakeholders.
This role requires strong executive communication skills, structured delivery governance experience, and the ability to manage high-complexity enterprise modernization projects.
Core Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise application implementation projects
Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource plans
Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, technical, QA, and vendor partners
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes
Oversee vendor performance, contract deliverables, and escalation management
Develop and maintain detailed project artifacts including:
Project Charter
Project Management Plan
RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
Status dashboards and executive reports
Lead stakeholder engagement across multiple levels including senior executives and steering committees
Facilitate requirements gathering, impact analysis, and solution design discussions
Support QA, testing coordination, UAT planning, and deployment readiness
Drive organizational change management, communication planning, and adoption strategies
Ensure alignment with governance frameworks and enterprise delivery standards
Required Experience & Skillset
Must Have
10+ years of progressive IT Project Management experience
Strong background in large-scale enterprise application delivery
Proven experience using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
Experience managing end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation → deployment)
Strong experience with:
Scope, schedule, cost, and risk management
Stakeholder management and executive reporting
Vendor and contract management
Experience working in government or large enterprise environments
Experience with structured documentation:
BPM / BPMN workflows
Business & functional requirements
Technical design documentation
Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills
Ability to operate in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
PMP Certification (Active / In Good Standing – required)
Nice to Have
Public sector / municipal experience
Experience with modernization or legacy system replacement programs
Experience supporting multi-stream delivery teams
Change management certification or formal training (Prosci or equivalent)
Experience working with enterprise governance frameworks
Familiarity with testing cycles (SIT, UAT, regression testing coordination)
