Join a team supporting the operational readiness of the DND!
CAC TC plays a critical role in the DND by delivering specialized training in support of operational readiness. Due to increased operational tempo, transaction volume, and financial administration requirements, additional support is needed to ensure claims processing is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with Department of National Defence (DND) and Treasury Board policies.
We are seeking an Intermediate Compensation Consultant to provide essential compensation, claims processing, and administrative support services onsite in Kingston, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide a full range of compensation and administrative support services, including but not limited to:
Initiate, process, verify, and finalize electronic and manual claims, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
Process travel, relocation, and employee claims using approved systems, including electronic claims platforms and Claims X, in accordance with applicable policies.
Administer cost comparisons and provide financial findings to support CAC TC operations.
Respond to routine enquiries from managers, staff, and suppliers regarding financial procedures, transaction status, and documentation requirements.
Process travel-related arrangements, including flight bookings, using approved travel systems such as AMEX GBT/NEO when required.
Maintain proper information management practices, including safeguarding, filing, and retention of financial and administrative records in compliance with security and privacy requirements.
Participate in mandatory training, professional development, and system-specific training related to financial administration duties.
Perform additional payrolling and administrative duties as assigned in support of CAC TC operations.

Qualifications
Minimum 24 months of client service support experience within the last five (5) years.
Experience supporting financial administration, claims processing, or compensation-related functions is considered an asset.
Ability to work in a secure, fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
A valid Canadian Federal Government Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
Three (3) project references will be required.
