📢 We’re Hiring | Java & Hadoop Sr. Developer | Canada
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (4 Days Onsite Required)
🕒 Experience: 6–8+ Years
Pay range: Up to $45-50/hr

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Java & Hadoop Senior Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, Big Data technologies, and Microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java/Scala development, cloud-native applications, and event-driven systems within enterprise environments.

Required Technical Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
• Kafka-based event-driven architecture
• Hadoop, Hive, Apache Spark
• Scala programming (Minimum 2+ Years)
• Python & Shell Scripting

Experience with:
• Microservices architecture
• Docker & Kubernetes
• Cloud platforms – AWS / Azure / GCP
• SQL optimization with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL

DevOps & Tools:
• Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub
• CI/CD pipelines
• Splunk & CloudWatch monitoring

Additional knowledge of:
• HTTP/REST APIs
• Inter-service communication using Kafka
• Familiarity with gRPC concepts

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize Big Data applications using Java & Scala
Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Kafka
Implement REST APIs and cloud-native deployments
Work with Hadoop ecosystem technologies for data processing
Support CI/CD, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments
