intermediate Python Developer

Our banking client is hiring an intermediate Python Developer to join their team for a 4.5 month contract with potential for extension. They are located in downtown Toronto with an onsite requirement of 3-4 days per week.

Canadian banking experience is highly preferred.

This position has a compensation of $69/hr incorporated +HST based on a 37.5 hour work week.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 5+ years of experience as a developer
2) 2+ years SQL experience (running queries+ development + optimization + data modelling/mining)
3) 5+ years’ development experience with Python
4) 3+ years’ experience with Database Systems: Hive/Hadoop/MINIO, DB2 and SQL Server
5) Experience with SAS, Informatica, DataStage
6) Experience with Bitbucket/Git

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) QA Testing experience be able to ensure testing coverage for new requirements and changes.
