We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to focus on cloud infrastructure and operations, with an emphasis on both cloud and traditional networking. This role will support the Investment, Finance, and Risk Management groups.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work model of 2 days working from home and 3 days onsite per week at York St, Toronto.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure that aligns with the company’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in networking across both cloud and on-prem environments, along with expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation. A passion for innovation and operational excellence is essential. Daily responsibilities will include cloud administration, automation, and Terraform activities.

Qualifications include:
– 5+ years of professional experience in large-scale networking environments and IT Infrastructure Operations
– Experience with configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, including security features like Security Rules, URL filtering, proxies, and SSL decryption
– Knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, ISIS, and/or OSPF; proficiency in Windows PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other mainstream scripting languages; networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, VLANs, IPSEC VPN, etc.)
– Familiarity with AWS networking services such as Amazon VPC, load balancers, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and security services like AWS WAF and Shield
– Strong troubleshooting abilities for resolving systems and network issues; experience with Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban
– Experience with or a strong desire to learn containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, as well as AWS compute and storage services
