Senior SAS Developer

🚨 We’re Hiring: Senior SAS Developer (Contract) | Toronto Hybrid 🇨🇦
📍 Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON (44 King Street W)
📅 Duration: ASAP – Oct 31, 2026 (~5 months)
🕒 Schedule: Mon–Fri | 9 AM – 5 PM | 37.5 hrs/week
🏢 Hybrid Model: 2 days onsite (Tue/Thu) – subject to increase based on business needs
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on SAS SME who enjoys working on enterprise-scale ETL/data integration initiatives within a regulated financial environment.
💡 What You’ll Work On:
• Enhance and maintain SAS-based ETL workflows supporting regulatory and risk reporting
• Contribute to the OSFI 9.88 Non-Retail Regulatory Project
• Develop reusable SAS macros and automated ETL solutions
• Perform impact analysis, testing, validation, and production support
• Collaborate with business, finance, and risk stakeholders across the organization
✅ Must-Have Skills:
• 8+ years of hands-on SAS development experience
• Strong expertise in:
SAS Base (Required)
SAS Macro Language (Required)
SAS Access / SAS Connect / SAS Stat / ODS Reporting
• Proven experience building production-grade ETL processes
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge (SQL Server, DB2)
• Experience working with financial/risk data in enterprise environments
⭐ Nice to Have:
• Banking or financial services experience
• Exposure to GCP, Azure, Databricks, Hadoop
• Python / PowerShell / advanced SQL scripting
• SAS certifications
