Front End Developer

Our banking client is hiring a Contract Front End Developer to join their team located in downtown Toronto, hybrid 3 days per week. This is a 5 month contract to start with room for extension up to 2-years in duration. Candidates must be located in the GTA and eligible to work in Canada.

This position compensates up to $48/hr inc. based on a 37.5 hour work week. Banking experience is highly preferred and will be prioritized.

Must have requirements
• 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
• 5 years of experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of email/web development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Nice-To-Have Skills:
• HTML, CSS accreditation or four-year degree [Marketing, Design or related field preferred].
• Relevant experience coding emails, including knowledge of responsive design for mobile
• Experience creating and editing emails for delivery with a product such as Responsys, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Experience in marketing design, designing advertising and customer communications in an online environment.
