🚀 Hiring: Senior Backend Developer (Java / Camunda / Azure)
📍 Toronto / Waterloo (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join a high-impact team in the insurance and financial services space, working on scalable, cloud-native platforms and complex workflow systems.

This is a great opportunity to work on modern microservices architecture, API-driven platforms, and workflow orchestration using Camunda 8 in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

💼 What you’ll be working on:
Designing and building scalable backend services using Java & Spring Boot
Developing workflow orchestration solutions with Camunda 8 (BPMN, connectors, workers)
Building API-first systems (OpenAPI, REST, OAuth security)
Working with event-driven and distributed architectures
Deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
Using Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices
Implementing resilience patterns, observability (ELK, New Relic)

✅ What we’re looking for:
5–10 years of backend development experience
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
Hands-on experience with Camunda 8 (or similar BPM/workflow tools)
Experience with Azure cloud, Kubernetes, and API security (OAuth)
Background in financial services, insurance, or lending is a big plus

💰 What’s in it for you:
$63–67/hour (T4) | $75–79/hour (Incorporated)
9-month contract with strong extension potential
Hybrid work model (Toronto/Waterloo)
