Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Customer Service Representative. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable exposure to banking operations within a collaborative team environment. The role involves providing efficient support to clients, handling transaction reviews, and ensuring accuracy in daily operations, all while adhering to established guidelines and service standards.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $21.82/hr

Responsibilities

Process daily transfers and transactions accurately, reviewing accompanying documentation for completeness and correctness
Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Identify and escalate operational or processing issues as needed
Collaborate with team members and partners to resolve issues and improve service quality
Support ongoing process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations
Manage workload efficiently to meet SLAs and deadlines
Participate in daily team calls and communicate effectively across internal teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Previous banking experience
Customer service experience of 1+ years
Knowledge of financial products such as deposits, loans, or foreign exchange
Experience working in back-office operations or with banking platforms like Global or WSS
Quick learner with a proactive approach to tasks
