Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Business Systems Analyst – API Projects. This position involves supporting critical project initiatives within a versatile IT environment, focusing on requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery.
Pay rate range (CAD): $68.84/hr – $82.61/hr
Responsibilities
Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders, BAs, and product owners.
Develop comprehensive user stories, API documentation, and sequence diagrams to support project needs.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure clarity of technical solutions.
Review, analyze, and document technical and business processes.
Assist in the development and refinement of technical documentation related to SSO, APIs, and other core banking systems.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Provide deep analytical thinking to identify value-added opportunities beyond standard solutions.
Document complex technical solutions clearly and accurately for broader team understanding.
Contribute to project meetings and collaborate across teams to meet project milestones.
Desired Skill-Set
Strong Business Systems Analyst experience with 7+ years in financial services.
Expertise in requirements gathering and facilitation.
Proven ability to write user stories, API documentation, and sequence diagrams.
Skilled at asking insightful questions to BAs, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Experience with core banking systems (strongly preferred).
Solid background working within Agile environments.
Ability to document technical solutions with precision and clarity.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Accessibility experience is a nice-to-have.
Nice to Have
Prior experience working on SSO and API-related documentation.
Background in banking or financial industries.
Knowledge of accessibility standards.
Previous experience in a remote or partially remote team environment.
