Salary Range: $180,000–$230,000 CAD + 10% bonus + benefits + pension matching

About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Principal / Senior Data Scientist to lead high-impact AI initiatives. You’ll build, scale, and maintain agentic GenAI systems, integrating knowledge into models, deploying ML pipelines, and ensuring reliable, production-ready AI solutions. This is a chance to innovate at the cutting edge of AI in a fast-moving, product-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
Lead development and deployment of GenAI/LLM systems in production
Design scalable ML pipelines and automated workflows using AWS, Python, and containerized environments
Build retrieval-augmented and agentic AI systems to solve real-world problems
Mentor and influence data scientists, engineers, and product teams
Integrate AI tools to boost productivity, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
8+ years in data science, ML, or applied AI with production experience
Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLM frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, Hugging Face, etc.)
Strong AWS cloud expertise and API deployment experience (FastAPI, Flask)
Experience in agentic AI, tool integrations, and RAG-based systems
Python and SQL proficiency; knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Background in SaaS/product-driven companies preferred
