Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Project Analyst specializing in PMP methodology within a banking environment. This position offers the opportunity to lead and support multiple IT projects, contribute to strategic initiatives, and develop your regulatory and data management skills in a dynamic setting.

Pay rate range (CAD): $62.61/hr – $75.13/hr

Responsibilities

Support multiple IT projects with budgets up to $10 million, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope
Manage project financials, including accruals, Statement of Work (SOW) management, and forecasting variances
Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to facilitate project activities
Prepare and deliver progress updates to senior and executive stakeholders
Contribute to project planning, risk management, and issue resolution
Utilize MS Office Suite extensively, including Excel (vlookups, macros)
Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with project standards
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
Support onboarding and project initiation processes
Adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skill-Set

10+ years of progressive project management experience in banking or fintech sectors
PMP certification strongly preferred
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong financial acumen with knowledge of accruals, SOW management, and forecasting
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (vlookups, macros)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong coordination skills and stakeholder management experience
Ability to present updates confidently to senior management
Calm, practical problem-solver with ownership mentality
Resourceful and accountable in high-pressure situations
Nice to Have

Experience with Jira, Confluence, Clarity, or similar project management tools
Previous experience in a hybrid work environment
Knowledge of regulatory requirements within banking or fintech industries
Prior involvement in data management and data-related initiatives
