Senior Full-Stack Developer – Toronto (Hybrid)
Are you a builder, not a maintainer? Join an early-stage, engineering-led startup shaping the future of residential real estate workflows and data analytics. You’ll be one of the first 5 engineers beyond the founding team—owning systems end-to-end, influencing architecture, and shipping fast.
What You’ll Do:
Lead development from idea → production → live usage
Design and build scalable backend microservices (Python, AWS EKS & Lambda, Docker)
Build React + TypeScript frontends served via S3 + CloudFront
Model and manage Postgres databases, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production debugging
Mentor newer engineers and contribute to high-impact technical decisions
What We’re Looking For:
5–7+ years full-stack experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS or fintech startups (e.g., Stripe, Shopify, WealthSimple)
Proven zero-to-one delivery experience
Strong backend + frontend experience; systems thinker comfortable with async behaviour, caching, and performance
High autonomy, low ego, and team-first mentality
Able to work in-office 3 days/week in downtown Toronto
Salary & Perks:
$160k–$170k CAD + 0.5% company equity (vested over 4 years)
Hybrid role: 3 days/week in-office
Unlimited PTO (typical 2 weeks)
