A Civil Engineering degree and hands‑on concrete experience are essential to succeed in this role.
🔨 Position Overview – Project Leader
We are seeking experienced Project Leaders with strong civil and concrete backgrounds to support major on‑site project execution. The successful candidates will lead full lifecycle project management—from initiation to closeout—ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all phases of project management using approved governance.
Prepare project scopes (WBS), estimates, schedules, risk plans, and gate packages.
Manage project execution including cost control, schedule tracking, and change management.
Lead RFP preparation, tender evaluations, contracting, and vendor coordination.
Liaise closely with construction and operations teams to resolve design, scope, and field issues.
Chair project meetings with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare project turnover documentation and track deficiencies through closeout.
Support approvals, permits, and compliance activities with internal and external agencies.
Maintain awareness of best practices in construction, estimating, scheduling, and project controls.
✔️ Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
Concrete experience (e.g., structural concrete, foundations, rehabilitation, heavy civil)
6–8 years of project management experience in heavy industry, utilities, or generating stations
Experience with cost estimating, scheduling, forecasting, and contract management
Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, QA, and health & safety
Ability to manage competing priorities across scope, budget, schedule, and quality
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills
