Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Production Support Specialist – Direct Investing. In this position, you will be part of the Production Support team for core Investors Edge applications, focusing on technical investigation, incident resolution, outage management, and continuous service improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a critical client-facing system with long-term growth potential.

Pay rate range (CAD): $54.35/hr – $65.22/hr

Responsibilities

Investigate, triage, and resolve production issues based on severity and business impact
Lead incident bridges and manage major outages with clear stakeholder communication
Monitor logs, identify root causes, and implement preventative actions
Prioritize and manage contact center tickets and internal escalations
Support daily midnight batch processes to ensure application uptime outside market hours
Support Azure cloud components including App Insights, Data Factory, and SQL Server
Maintain OpenShift microservices and validate deployments via Artifactory pipelines
Act as subject matter expert on system changes, impact assessments, and deployment procedures
Participate in after-hours maintenance for code updates and system improvements
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and enterprise standards
Collaborate with business partners, technical teams, QA, vendors, and project teams
Provide timely and clear updates during outages and high-impact incidents
Desired Skill-Set

3-5 years of Production Support experience in a technology environment
Proven experience supporting applications in Azure cloud infrastructure
Hands-on experience with OpenShift container platform
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MSSQL
Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents efficiently
Ownership-driven with strong accountability

Demonstrated capability resolving high-impact outages
Background in banking or the financial services domain
Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and enterprise-scale systems
