Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Endpoint Infrastructure Consultant – Banking Project. This position involves designing, implementing, securing, and managing comprehensive systems infrastructure to support seamless IT operations in hybrid or cloud environments. Pay rate range (CAD): $76.99/hr – $92.39/hr

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain enterprise systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
Configure, install, and upgrade operating systems, including Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms.
Implement and enforce security policies, including access controls, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash to improve efficiency.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and system integrations.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity preparedness.
Provide Tier 3 support for complex technical issues impacting systems and infrastructure.
Desired Skill-Set

At least 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level systems administration.
Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Linux/Unix environments, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security architectures.
Expertise in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
Familiarity with configuration management and deployment tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills for liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of database management systems and backup strategies.
Exposure to compliance standards such as ISO, PCI DSS, or HIPAA.
Previous experience in financial or regulated industries.
