Hiring: Application Support Specialist (Azure is a MUST)
We are looking for a skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Banking client in Toronto.
Location: Bay Street, Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week)
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extensions)
Start Date: April 1, 2026
Rate: Market rate
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve operational & technical issues in production environments
Prioritize incidents based on severity and business impact
Maintain issue logs and manage escalations (24×7 support when required)
Coordinate recovery efforts during outages
Communicate technology standards and system updates to stakeholders
**Must Have**:
5–10 years of Application Support experience
Strong knowledge of UNIX, Linux & Windows
Hands-on Azure experience (Mandatory) ☁️
Experience with AWS
OpenShift container orchestration
ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence
Autosys job scheduling
Feedhub (Axway) data integration
Strong incident management expertise
Nice to Have:
Scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell)
DevOps/CI-CD (Git, Jenkins, Ansible)
SQL Server / Oracle
Monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana)
ITIL knowledge
Strong stakeholder communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
