Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Java Fullstack Developer-Banking. Pay rate range (CAD): $65.21/hr – $78.26/hr

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA leads, and Business Systems Analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Develop comprehensive technical specifications and documentation for features and system designs.
Design, build, and configure scalable applications to meet diverse business needs, utilizing your full-stack expertise.
Write clean, efficient, and testable code adhering to quality standards and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Ensure high software quality through rigorous testing, adherence to coding standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to promote innovation within the development team.
Desired Skill-Set

5+ years of full-stack software development experience, including frontend and backend focus.
5+ years of Java development experience, including RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of software design principles and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Nice to Have

2+ years of experience in banking or financial services industries.
Java certification(s).
Agile certification(s).
