Software Engineer (Cloud + AI Focus)

New contract opportunity: Software Engineer (Cloud + AI Focus) I’m currently supporting a growing organization in the beverage/alcohol manufacturing with a Software Engineer opening within their Core Applications team. The role focuses on building enterprise solutions across supply chain, sales, quality, and distribution systems in a fast-evolving business environment. Key experience: • Strong software engineering background (C#/.NET preferred, but Java or Python also relevant) • Deep AWS cloud experience: serverless, microservices, cloud-native architecture • Practical experience building AI-enabled solutions (LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, prompt/context engineering) This is a hands-on engineering role with real ownership, working directly with business stakeholders, designing solutions, and delivering production-ready applications. Location: Vancouver, BC (hybrid, once a month) Contract: 6 months with strong potential for extension Interview process: 1–2 rounds.
