Job Title: Java Developer – DevSecOps & Cloud Modernization
Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON (2 days onsite, flexible)
Salary Range: $56 – $64/hr (INC)
About the Role:
We’re seeking a talented Java Developer to join a fast-paced DevSecOps modernization initiative. You’ll enhance CI/CD pipelines across multiple tools (Jenkins, Argo Workflow, GitHub Actions) and contribute to a unified CI/CD UI layer built on Spring Framework. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) is highly valued.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and enhance Java-based CI/CD integrations and automation
Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in design reviews, and implement scalable solutions
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions
Work hands-on with containerized applications and cloud environments
Must-Have Skills:
3+ years Java development experience
3+ years CI/CD experience and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
1+ year cloud experience (GCP preferred)
Agile development experience
Nice-to-Have:
Node.js experience
Familiarity with banking or regulated environments
