Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior ETL Developer – Databricks/Informatica/Azure to play a pivotal part in modernizing HR technology infrastructure. The role involves designing and implementing cloud-based data pipelines, supporting SaaS integrations, and working on high-profile enterprise initiatives.

Pay rate range (CAD): $68.84/hr – $82.60/hr

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze existing data workflows, including Informatica mappings and dependencies
Re-design and develop data pipelines using Azure Databricks notebooks and Azure platform components
Support ongoing SaaS integrations such as file feeds, Single Sign-On (SSO), and third-party vendor connections
Ensure scalability, data integrity, and security throughout migration processes
Lead technical infrastructure design leveraging databases, scripting languages, and testing frameworks
Develop and support current ETL processes with Informatica and other tools
Support and troubleshoot application and data issues during business hours
Conduct code reviews and ensure project alignment with best practices
Mentor intermediate and senior developers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing
Desired Skill-Set:

5+ years experience with Databricks and Azure cloud technologies
3-5 years hands-on experience with Informatica development
5+ years working with Oracle and SQL for data extraction and batch processing
5+ years Unix scripting experience for file movement and extract generation
5+ years experience with Autosys or similar job scheduling tools
Strong scripting and programming skills in Python and SQL
Knowledge of data security methods, including PGP encryption and FTPS deployment
Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions
Nice to Have:

Experience working in a cloud-focused, modernization environment (Azure / Databricks)
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS ecosystems and vendor integrations
Prior experience in HR technology projects or enterprise data migration efforts
Knowledge of SSO deployment and security protocols in cloud environments
