📍 Toronto (Hybrid)
Experience: 8-10 years
Pay: Up to $50/hr

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, deploy, and manage web API-based applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about software craftsmanship and experienced in Agile delivery environments.

Mandatory Requirement:
8–10 years of hands-on experience in web-based application development
Strong expertise in Java & Spring Boot
Experience designing and building REST APIs
Knowledge of Python
Experience with DevOps practices & CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of secure, scalable, and optimized application design
Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams
Strong communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex, secure, and optimized web-based applications
Build and deploy Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
Collaborate with Product Managers and Agile teams to deliver digital products
Break down product vision into technical execution plans
Contribute to system scalability, performance, and reliability
Lead development efforts and mentor team members
Ensure risk awareness and compliance with development standards
Communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure)
Microservices architecture experience
Banking or enterprise domain experience
