Senior Business Analyst

Hiring: Senior Business Analyst – ACH & Check Clearing Operations | Location: Hybrid – Client office downtown in Toronto

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in ACH processing, check clearing, and payment operations across the U.S. or Canada. This role will work closely with business and technology teams to enhance digital payment workflows and operational processes.

Key Requirements:
8–15 years of BA experience in financial services
Strong expertise in ACH processing (NACHA preferred)
Experience with U.S. check clearing (Federal Reserve / ECCHO) and Canadian cheque processing under Payments Canada rules
Knowledge of payment settlement, returns & exceptions processing
Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, process maps & user stories
Familiarity with Agile / SAFe / Waterfall and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio
Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)

Nice to Have:
Workflow automation tools like Pega or Appian
Strong stakeholder management and UAT coordination experience
