We are hiring an experienced Systems Testing / QA Specialist (Performance & Load Testing) for an Ontario Public Sector client. This is a long-term onsite contract opportunity in Toronto.

📍 Location: Toronto, Ontario (5 Days Onsite)
📅 Start Date: April 1, 2026
📅 End Date: March 31, 2027
⏳ Duration: 247 Business Days
⏱ Hours: 7.25 hours/day
🔐 Security Clearance: CRJMC
🔄 Extension: Probable after initial mandate

🎯 Key Responsibilities

⚙️ Coordinate with client application teams to gather technical requirements for load testing
🧪 Design and execute application load & performance tests
📜 Create load testing scripts based on technical requirements
☁️ Perform testing on Cloud & Multi-Tier (Web/App/DB) environments
👥 Act as performance test liaison between client and testing teams
📊 Execute virtual user load tests in selected environments
📈 Provide detailed performance test reports
🔧 Recommend performance tuning & right-sizing improvements
🐞 Troubleshoot performance issues and compare system configurations
📚 Share knowledge and best practices with in-house testing teams

🛠 Required Skills & Experience

✅ 5–9 years of performance & load testing experience in large, complex organizations
🧠 Strong understanding of application flows and system architectures
☁️ Hands-on experience with Cloud and n-Tier environments
📋 Experience gathering functional & non-functional test requirements
🧪 Proven expertise in application load testing methodologies

💻 Strong VuGen scripting skills including:

Correlation
Parameterization
Data extraction
Script peer reviews

📦 Key Deliverables
📑 Performance test plans, scripts, and test cases
📊 Test execution results and reporting
🔄 Support testing during analysis, design, development & implementation phases
🌙 Ability to execute tests after regular business hours, if required
