Lead Software Engineer / Developer – Hybrid (Oshawa, ON)
Location: Oshawa, ON (Hybrid – 3 days remote)
Salary: $88 – $95/hour
Hours: 35 hours/week
Duration: 12 months
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Software Engineer who thrives on building scalable, distributed systems while mentoring a high-performing engineering team. If you love coding 80% of the time, leading by example, and shaping technical strategy, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do:
Lead architecture and system design for robust, scalable solutions
Mentor engineers and elevate team performance
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
Implement best practices, coding standards, and secure software delivery
Evaluate and adopt new technologies to drive innovation
What You Need:
15–20 years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience in .NET/C# backend and Angular or React front-end
Experience with Azure Cloud and Kafka or RabbitMQ messaging systems
Expertise in distributed system design, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices
Proven experience mentoring teams and driving technical excellence
Agile delivery experience
