Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Operations Specialist. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support private wealth clients with a superior level of service and operational excellence, while developing your expertise within the banking and wealth management industry.

Pay rate range (CAD): $23.18/hr – $27.82/hr

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, knowledgeable, and professional service to private wealth clients and internal stakeholders
Support client-facing team members by processing transactions accurately and timely
Proactively identify client needs and support consistent delivery of exceptional service
Maintain compliance with banking, investment, and lending regulations, and adhere to policies, procedures, and risk guidelines
Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution or referral to appropriate teams
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals
Analyze data and provide insights to improve operational workflows and service levels
Assist in audits and compliance reviews, escalating discrepancies as needed
Complete complex tasks within established rules, including handling escalations and issue analysis
Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of private wealth services and offerings
Support team and project initiatives to enhance efficiency and client experience
Desired Skill-Set

Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a related field
Post-secondary degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of personal (mainly) and commercial credit products and operational processes within banking
Basic understanding of lending processes, policies, and regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Collaborative team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Banking-specific product knowledge
Ability to quickly learn new systems
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel)
This is an in-office role based in the Toronto area, requiring 2 days per week onsite, with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Candidates must be able to work during EST hours.
