Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an AML Operations Support professional. This position involves supporting banking operations with a focus on AML compliance, ensuring efficient processing, and maintaining high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $24.87/hr

Responsibilities

Manage queues, process account opening and change requests to meet banking compliance standards
Verify supporting documentation and ensure completeness and accuracy
Conduct routine reviews of legal and financial documents
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders through MS Teams calls and email communication
Maintain adherence to AML, regulatory, and legal compliance requirements
Support team goals by meeting SLAs and quality standards
Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing process improvements
Desired Skill-Set

Minimum 2 years of experience in banking operations or AML support roles
Strong understanding of AML compliance and banking regulations
Proficient in MS Office Suites, especially Excel (basic understanding)
Typing speed of at least 60-65 WPM
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and meticulous approach to work
Strong organizational and time management skills
Nice to Have

Previous experience working in a financial institution or banking environment
Knowledge of host applications and C3 system
Experience supporting AML or compliance teams
Ability to review complex legal documents and legal language
Previous administrative or operations officer experience
