AWS AI Developer (Conversational AI / GenAI) – Contract
📍 Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
⏳ 12-month contract | Start Early February
💰 $70-75 (Incorporated)
We’re looking for an AWS AI Developer to help build and scale enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions in a secure, production environment. If you’re excited about chatbots, GenAI, and AWS serverless, this one’s for you.
What You’ll Do
Build and enhance Amazon Lex chatbots with Lambda fulfillment
Integrate GenAI models via Amazon Bedrock (prompting, tuning, orchestration)
Implement RAG workflows using embeddings and vector search (PostgreSQL / PGVector)
Develop secure backend APIs (API Gateway / NLB)
Integrate authentication using OAuth/OIDC, JWT (Microsoft Identity)
Support CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and UAT
Enable chatbot handoff to Amazon Connect
What You Bring
2–4 years software development experience
1–2 years building chatbots or GenAI-powered applications
Strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless (Lambda, Lex, Bedrock)
Python or Node.js, PostgreSQL, basic SQL
Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering
CI/CD and IaC experience (CDK or Terraform)
Nice to Have
Experience with Claude models
Redis / ElastiCache
Prompt evaluation or GenAI testing tools
AWS certification (Associate)
