Data Security Consultant

Job Title: Data Security Consultant (Contract)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $66-$93/h.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
#Experienced: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in IT, Information Security, or Risk Management.
#Certifications (Assets): CISSP, CIA, or CISM.
#Cryptography Knowledge (Asset): Basic understanding of key and certificate management.
#Microsoft #Purview Expertise: Hands-on experience implementing sensitivity labels and integrating them with security controls (e.g., DLP, data discovery). Strong understanding of data classification and protection mechanisms.
#Database Protection: Experience with database and storage encryption, including column-level protection through built-in and vendor-hosted solutions.
