Senior Recruiter – Electrical/Warehouse Distribution & Logistics

Location: Vaughan, ON

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25/hour.

2 month contract to start with potential extension or permanency.

 

We are seeking a driven and experienced Recruiter to join our client’s growing team at their head office in Vaughan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and brings a strategic, competitive mindset to recruitment. You’ll be responsible for full-cycle recruiting across a diverse range of roles—from high-volume general labour to technical and senior-level positions—within the electrical distribution, warehousing, and logistics sectors.

The successful candidate will step into a high-impact role, partnering closely with hiring managers and supporting business-critical staffing needs across Canada with minimal onboarding or supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for roles spanning general labour, technical specialties, sales, and management across multiple provinces.
Partner with hiring managers to understand complex job requirements, build recruitment strategies, and align hiring practices with business objectives.
Proactively source niche talent through headhunting, social networks, industry platforms, referrals, and direct outreach.
Write compelling job postings tailored to attract specialized candidates in electrical distribution and related industries.
Screen and assess candidates for both technical fit and cultural alignment.
Coordinate interviews, facilitate offers, and support onboarding.
Maintain detailed records, reports, and applicant tracking across multiple active requisitions.
Actively contribute to internal communications and employee engagement initiatives as part of a collaborative HR team.

Note: Experience recruiting in electrical distribution or a related niche industry is strongly preferred due to the specialized nature of many roles.

 

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, including mid-to-senior level roles.
Proven ability to source hard-to-find candidates in a competitive market using advanced sourcing strategies.
Experience managing multiple open requisitions across various job families and locations.
Ability to work independently, prioritize under tight timelines, and maintain a high level of execution.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Previous experience in electrical distribution, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain industries is a major asset.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
