Director, Fixed Income Technology — Toronto | $150K–$200K + Bonus
(Permanent | Hybrid | 3–4 Days Onsite)
We’re searching for a hands-on, high-impact technology leader to drive modernization across global Fixed Income Settlements & Clearing. If you thrive in fast-paced Capital Markets environments and want to shape large-scale transformation while staying close to the tech — this role is your next big step.
You’ll lead a talented team of developers, architects, and BAs, guiding strategy and execution across global markets (Canada, U.S., UK, Asia). Your mission: elevate performance, reduce risk, and accelerate modernization across critical post-trade systems — including Broadridge IMPACT.
🌟 What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and grow a technical team delivering global FI systems
Drive modernization for post-trade, clearing, and settlement technology
Oversee multi-million-dollar programs ($2M–$15M+)
Partner with Operations, Trading, and executive stakeholders
Improve resiliency, automation, and speed across global platforms
Provide vision + hands-on leadership using Java, Kafka, NiFi, and other integration tools
✔️ What You Bring
7+ years in Fixed Income Technology or Capital Markets IT
Strong knowledge of post-trade workflows and settlements lifecycle
Hands-on Broadridge IMPACT experience (must-have)
Technical background — Java, Kafka, NiFi, APIs, integration patterns
Experience leading teams of 10–15+
Ability to influence, modernize, and deliver in complex environments
Experience with regulatory frameworks (IIROC, OSC, SEC, FCA, MAS)
💼 Compensation Range (Ontario 2026 Compliance)
$150,000–$200,000 base salary
20% bonus
4 weeks vacation
