Reporting Structure

The successful candidate will report to the Quality Assurance Team Lead/Manager who will provide leadership/supervision regarding overall duties and work assignment.

Duration/Effort

The successful candidate will be required on a full-time basis for a period of 1 year, commencing January 19, 2026 and ending January 18, 2027 (261 DAYS). Also included is (1) one optional extension term of one (1) year (approx. 261 days).

Work Location and Travel

The successful candidate will have the option of working remotely for the duration of the engagement.

Must Have

A University degree in Computer Science, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated testing experience that includes the following types of testing: functional, performance, connectivity, and regression.
A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in quality assurance and system testing best practices and methodologies.
Excellent communications skills (written and oral) in English.
4+ years Demonstrated experience in security relating to data confidentiality and client privacy as it pertains to databases and application design and development.
4+ years Demonstrated proficiency in ‘open source’ performance testing tools for web applications and web services.
4+ years Demonstrated experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) in a QA environment.
4+ years Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance frameworks and experience with project methodologies such as Waterfall, Waterscrum, Agile.
4+ years Demonstrated experience with supporting the User Acceptance testing process including working with the Business Owners and execution of Test Cases/Scripts, Defect Reporting and Resolution tracking etc.
4+ years Demonstrated experience in HP Quality Center or similar product.
4+ years Demonstrated experience in database upgrades.
3+ years Demonstrated experience working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Records applications in a Canadian context.
