Clinical Business Analyst – Surgery

Location: Remote (Canada)

Contract: Full-time Contract

Role Summary

We are seeking an experiencedClinical Business Analyst – Surgery to support acute-care Clinical Information System (EHR/CIS) initiatives. The role focuses on analyzing, documenting, and supporting surgical and peri-operative workflows in collaboration with clinical and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document clinical requirements for surgical workflows
Facilitate workshops with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and peri-operative teams
Analyze current and future-state workflows (OR, anesthesia, PACU)
Produce BA artifacts (BRDs, FRDs, use cases, workflow diagrams)
Support testing, UAT, go-live, and stabilization activities
Requirements

5+ years as a Clinical Business Analyst in acute-care healthcare
Hands-on experience with EHR/CIS systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
Strong knowledge of surgical and peri-operative workflows
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
