Title: Software Engineering Manager – .NET & Cloud
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days in office) Perm Position
About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing team building secure, scalable, and reliable solutions on the Microsoft stack. You’ll guide both people and technical direction, hire and mentor engineers, shape architecture, streamline delivery pipelines, and partner with product teams to turn vision into impact.
What You’ll Do:
Lead & grow a team of 7-10 developers: hire, coach, and deliver continuous feedback.
Drive technical excellence: review designs, optimize for performance, resiliency, and security.
Unblock delivery: streamline CI/CD, DevSecOps workflows, and champion engineering best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product vision into actionable plans.
What We’re Looking For:
8+ years in software development, with 3+ years managing engineers.
Deep expertise in Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API) and modern tooling (Visual Studio, GitHub).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automation, and AWS cloud solutions.
Strong fintech domain experience with awareness of regulatory and security requirements.
Passion for AI adoption in development workflows is a plus.
