Contract Type: Full-Time Contract

Work Location: Remote (must be located in Canada)

Contract Duration:

January 19, 2026 to July 31, 2026

Optional extension from August 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026

 

Role Overview

Shared Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale Digital Health and Healthcare IT initiatives. This role supports provincial healthcare transformation by managing the safe and effective implementation of clinical systems and integrated healthcare technologies across complex healthcare environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end healthcare IT projects in clinical settings

Manage large, multi-stream project teams and implementation schedules

Report project status, risks, and issues to senior clinical leadership

Coordinate closely with clinical, technical, and vendor stakeholders

Oversee system testing and healthcare integrations, including HL7 interfaces

Ensure clinical and operational readiness for system deployment

Support enterprise-level and provincial healthcare system implementations

 

Mandatory Certifications (Pass / Fail)

PMP or PRINCE2 (Foundation or Practitioner)

PROSCI ADKAR Organizational Change Management

 

Required Experience

10 or more years managing healthcare IT projects, including reporting to senior clinical leadership

5 or more years implementing or upgrading Altera Sunrise in an acute care environment

5 or more years coordinating or performing testing of healthcare system integrations using HL7

5 or more years leading provincial or state-wide healthcare system implementations

5 or more years managing large clinical implementations involving senior clinical stakeholders and multi-stream teams
