📍 Hybrid – Toronto (EST) | 🔄 12-Month Contract-to-Permanent

We’re looking for a Software Tester who loves digging into financial data, validating complex workflows, and ensuring critical accounting systems run flawlessly. If you have a strong understanding of GL/AP/AR, know how financial applications behave, and enjoy making sure systems are accurate, secure, and reliable — this is for you.
This role sits at the heart of a major ERP transformation and offers the chance to make a direct impact on financial reporting and system integrity.
🔍 What You’ll Do
Test core accounting system modules, data flows, and integrations
Validate financial outputs, exception handling, and compliance checks
Build and execute test plans, track defects, and maintain clear documentation
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and product stakeholders
Support go-live activities and ensure smooth post-launch performance
Help shape continuous improvements in QA processes and testing quality
✔️ We’re Looking For
4+ years of software testing experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting flows, and financial modules (GL/AP/AR)
Experience testing ERP or EPM systems
Solid manual QA experience + familiarity with automation (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Working knowledge of SQL, Jira/TestRail, and structured QA documentation
Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and ceremonies
Excellent communicator with high attention to detail
⭐ Nice to Have
Background in accounting or finance (CPA exposure a plus)
Experience with automation frameworks or test management platforms
Exposure to enterprise integration testing
