We are hiring for a Senior Service Representative – EFTR for one of our leading banking clients. This position is within CCBO Payment Operations, supporting essential wire payment and FINTRAC reporting processes.

– Pay Rate: $25.20/hr
– Start Date: ASAP
– Contract: Strong possibility of extension and conversion to full-time
– Location: Mississauga (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week, subject to change)

Role Mandate:
CCBO Payments Operations functions as the centralized wire hub for the bank and serves as the first line of defense for all incoming and outgoing inter-bank, corporate, and retail wire payments. The team is responsible for timely processing, compliance checks, sanctions screening, and post-execution support for wires sent or received through global correspondent banks. As part of Canada’s AML reporting requirements, the bank must report all incoming and outgoing international electronic funds transfers (EFTs) of $10,000 CAD or more to FINTRAC within strict timelines. Non-compliance poses significant legal and reputational risks.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
– Use the EFTR (Electronic Fund Transfer Reporting) Reject Management Tool (RMT) to monitor, edit, and enrich reportable records.
– Review, correct, and update records prior to FINTRAC submission.
– Resolve warnings and rejected records to ensure compliance with FINTRAC validation rules.
– Ensure all items are actioned within 48 hours and submitted within 5 business days of the transaction date.
– Support wire payment operations with accuracy and adherence to compliance requirements.
– Work efficiently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Must-Have Skills:
– Minimum 2 years of financial industry experience.
– FINTRAC experience.
– Wires/payments operations experience.
