About the Role
NORAMTEC is seeking two (2) highly motivated Data Analysis Researchers to support data-driven research initiatives that enhance strategic decision-making and operational performance. Working on-site in Edmonton, this role involves gathering and validating critical data inputs, supporting pipeline integrity assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed research using internal databases, historical records, and vendor reports to compile relevant inputs for ILI (In-Line Inspection) data assessments and system health mapping.
Collaborate with ILI Data Assessment team members and external vendors to clarify data requirements and resolve gaps.
Perform initial data assessments to identify trends, inconsistencies, or anomalies.
Maintain and update tracking tools and documentation for ongoing projects and assessments.
Support team logistics and coordination efforts for both the ILI DA and CSI (Critical System Integrity) teams.
Ensure all data handling complies with governance and confidentiality standards.
Communicate findings and updates clearly through written reports and team meetings.

Qualifications & Skills
Education:
College diploma (required)
Preferred fields: Data Analysis, Quantitative Methods, Engineering, or related disciplines
Training in CP Design (Transmission) or Quality Management is an asset
Experience & Skills:
1–2 years in a data-focused support role
Strong analytical, research, and data validation skills
High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint
Experience with GIS tools (Google Earth, ArcGIS) is an asset
Familiarity with pipeline systems and pipeline integrity is preferred
