Hiring Alert – Data Analyst
Location: BC | Remote (Non-mandatory onsite meetings)
Role Overview
The Data Analyst will work remotely with the Licence team in the Community Safety and Bylaw Department to support monitoring, compliance, and policy development. You will provide data-driven insights to strengthen enforcement, guide policy decisions, and help maintain a sustainable housing market in BC.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
🔸 Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), SharePoint, MS Teams
🔸 Strong data analytics skills: data wrangling, cleaning, visualization, and trend analysis
🔸 Experience integrating and analyzing multiple data sources (Airbnb, AirDNA, City databases)
🔸 Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear, concise reports
🔸 Knowledge of bylaws, provincial regulations, and STR enforcement processes
Deliverables:
💡 Monthly, quarterly, and annual STR compliance reports
💡 Bi-Annual/Annual STR impact assessments
💡 Interactive dashboards with STR statistics
💡 Ad hoc reports and insights for internal and public use
