Business Analyst

Our public sector client is hiring a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract with options to extend to transition in a permanent role. This role is hybrid in Toronto twice per week.

Key Responsibilities
·       Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
·       Support integration efforts between Dynamics 365, IRIS, and custom applications, ensuring performance optimization and secure data flows.
·       Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and contribute to solution design for new and existing applications.
·       Translate business needs into clear specifications for development teams.
·       Assist in the development of dashboards, reports, and governance documentation.
·       Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience
·       3-5 years of experience in business analysis within IT environments
·       Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and IRIS platform capabilities.
·       Experience working with custom applications and APIs, including performance tuning and integration strategies.
·       Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, Power BI, Figma and Microsoft Office Suite.
·       Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
·       Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications
·       Experience with Azure-based integrations and security models.
·       Exposure to enterprise data architecture and relational databases.
·       Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) is an asset.
