NORAMTEC is seeking an experienced Program Manager – Strategic Vendor Management (SVM) to support the Enterprise Strategic Vendor Management Program for a leading organization.
This exciting opportunity requires an individual with a deep understanding of vendor ecosystems, program delivery, and change management in large-scale, complex IT environments. You will play a key role in shaping and implementing a comprehensive SVM framework across the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Lead large, complex, and high-risk strategic initiatives across enterprise environments.
Design, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures, templates, tools, and stakeholder engagement models to support a holistic SVM framework.
Deliver strategic advisory services to ensure vendors consistently meet IT and business objectives.
Drive vendor orchestration and relationship management across ministries and government IT clusters.
Develop and track Strategic Partnership Success Plans and Relationship Charters.
Deliver performance monitoring and governance reporting, including vendor scorecards and value-based assessments.
Represent the SVM team on cross-ministry and inter-jurisdictional committees.
Support strategic industry intelligence, performance monitoring, and vendor reviews.
Skills & Experience Requirements
1. Strategic Initiatives & Program Management
Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-jurisdictional programs.
Demonstrated ability to identify gaps, develop full program roadmaps, and connect interdependencies.
Experience with program planning tools, Gantt charts, and development of recommendation documents.
2. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
Track record of managing diverse stakeholder groups with conflicting priorities.
Ability to generate collaborative solutions and synthesize stakeholder input into actionable plans.
3. Program Change Management
Expertise in applying change management principles in high-impact environments.
Strong communication skills in conveying changes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
4. Vendor Management Expertise (MUST HAVE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE)
Experience in developing SLAs, vendor performance plans, optimization strategies, and scorecards.
Ability to create vendor management playbooks and tools that support continuous improvement.
Deep understanding of vendor performance metrics and marketplace dynamics.
