We’re Hiring: Senior Java Architect (eCommerce) – Permanent Position
📍 Location: Remote-first (GTA-based, monthly in-office presence required)

Are you a Senior Java Architect with deep eCommerce and retail experience? Passionate about building scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions? We’re looking for a seasoned technical leader to drive the architecture of a modern, enterprise-grade eCommerce platform.
In this high-impact role, you’ll shape the future of digital commerce, lead solution design, mentor engineering teams, and influence senior stakeholders — all within a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Lead the architecture, design, and development of core eCommerce platforms (customer, order, retail systems).
Translate complex business needs into sustainable and scalable technical solutions.
Architect microservices and cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes/Docker.
Guide the adoption of DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Present technical strategy to executive stakeholders and leadership teams.
Mentor developers and junior architects to elevate technical acumen across teams.
Conduct technical reviews, approve design documents, and ensure alignment with best practices.
Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions as needed.
Champion performance tuning, security, and system scalability.
✅ What You Bring
10+ years of Java/JEE development experience (expert level).
5+ years with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern frameworks.
5+ years in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
Proven architecture experience in retail and eCommerce domains.
Strong grasp of microservices and event-driven architecture.
6+ years mentoring and leading developers and engineering teams.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database systems.
Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
Clear communication, stakeholder influence, and conflict resolution skills.
Agile/Scrum team experience.
Knowledge of application security and scalable design patterns.
