Job Overview

As an SAP Implementation Test Lead, this role provides leadership in planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end testing activities for SAP implementation projects.
The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and third-party partners to ensure the quality and performance of SAP solutions.
Expertise in SAP testing methodologies, tools, and best practices will support operational excellence and successful delivery aligned with the Strategic Transformation Roadmap (STR).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SAP testing strategies, plans, and schedules across all testing phases.
Lead the full SAP testing lifecycle including preparation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
Manage test environments, data, and tools to ensure efficient testing.
Provide mentorship to test analysts and business testers.
Act as the primary contact for all SAP testing activities and escalations.
Collaborate with process owners, consultants, developers, and vendors to align test coverage with business requirements.
Review and develop test cases, scripts, and scenarios for SAP processes and integrations.
Oversee defect triage, resolution, and retesting with root-cause analysis.
Facilitate test status meetings and stakeholder communications.
Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and quality standards.
Champion SAP testing tools and automation adoption.
Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and documentation.
Stay current with SAP testing trends and share best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years in SAP testing, with 3+ years in a lead role.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, EAM, SCM, HR).
Hands-on with SAP testing tools and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Certifications in SAP, ISTQB, PMP, or Agile preferred.
