Strategic Planning & Transformation Manager
Location: 40 Temperance St, Toronto – Hybrid (3 days/week: Tues, Thurs + 1 flexible day; may increase to 3–4 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension)
Summary:
We are seeking a Program Manager to support the Global Risk Management (GRM) Transformation Office. This is not a traditional PM role, but one focused on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, executive communications, and KPI reporting to advance the Risk Transformation Program. The successful candidate will partner with senior stakeholders, support strategy offsites and leadership forums, develop executive-ready materials, and track progress of a high-visibility transformation program.
Key Responsibilities:
Support strategy planning for GRM, including offsites, analysis, and recommendations.
Develop and track KPIs, prepare progress reports, and deliver updates to senior leadership, the Board, and executive committees.
Create executive-level communications and presentations (newsletters, town halls, governance reports).
Facilitate collaboration across risk teams, ensuring alignment and stakeholder engagement.
Synthesize insights and lessons learned into actionable recommendations.
Support ad hoc transformation and business planning initiatives.
Must-Have Skills:
3+ years post-undergraduate experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic initiatives.
Proven ability to create and deliver executive communications (presentations, reports, newsletters).
Strong experience with KPI reporting and Excel (quantitative + qualitative reporting).
Advanced PowerPoint skills for executive-ready decks; proficiency with Word and Excel.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Risk management or financial services experience.
Experience supporting large transformation initiatives.
Track record of driving innovative solutions through to change adoption.
Soft Skills:
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
Able to synthesize complex/ambiguous information into concise recommendations.
Team player with ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
