Job Overview

As a Data Architect – SAP Systems for our client, the role involves designing, governing, and optimizing data architecture across the client’s SAP landscape.
Collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams ensures integrity, accessibility, and value of enterprise data.
Expertise in SAP data models, integration, analytics, and governance drives data-driven decision-making and supports the client’s Strategic Transformation Roadmap (STR).

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Governance
Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise data architecture for SAP systems, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Define and govern SAP data models, master and transactional data structures, and data flows across modules and integrated systems.
Establish data governance, data quality, and metadata management standards for SAP environments.
Oversee data migration, cleansing, harmonization, and transformation activities for SAP projects and upgrades.

Integration & Analytics
Architect scalable, secure data integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Data Services, SLT, PI/PO, Integration Suite, and third-party middleware.
Enable advanced analytics and reporting by designing and optimizing SAP data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Delivery
Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and data stewards to deliver data-driven solutions and insights.
Provide guidance on SAP data architecture best practices, data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in data architecture, with 5+ years specializing in SAP environments.
Proven experience designing and implementing SAP data models, data integration, and analytics solutions.
Strong knowledge of SAP data management tools, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
Experience with data governance, data quality, metadata management, and regulatory compliance in SAP environments.
