Job Title: Systems Cloud Analyst / Engineer (Level 2 Support) – Long-Term Contract
Location: Hybrid – Toronto Area / Remote

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Cloud Analyst / Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting cloud-based financial services platforms. This long-term contract role requires a strong problem solver who can independently troubleshoot and manage Level 2 system support issues, primarily in AWS environments.
As a key contributor, you will analyze logs, review runtime configurations, and lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex integration and infrastructure challenges. Your work will help ensure system stability, compliance with production standards, and continuous modernization across cloud and on-prem platforms.
What You’ll Do:
Triage and resolve system and integration issues by reviewing logs, configurations, and connection flows
Document detailed issue analyses in Jira and coordinate with technical teams for resolution
Lead and facilitate cross-team meetings to determine root causes of problems you cannot resolve independently
Maintain and update cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring application versions remain current
Collaborate closely with platform leaders to support project planning, governance, and strategic initiatives
Build strong relationships across teams to align technical delivery with business goals
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer/Analyst supporting cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Proven skills in log analysis, system troubleshooting, and problem resolution in Level 2 support roles
Hands-on experience with AWS Gateway Lambda, Guidewire, IBM ACE (MQ/MQSI), and WebSphere
Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Git, Kubernetes/Docker, and financial services environments is a strong plus
Ability to work independently with strong ownership and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts
Excellent communication skills and documentation proficiency
