We’re Hiring: Sr. Technical Support Analyst
Our client, a leading Canadian wireless carrier, is looking for a Sr. Technical Support Analyst to join their team in Brampton, ON. This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong potential for a 1-year extension.
📍 Location: Onsite in Brampton (5 days/week)
⏱ Schedule: 37.5 hours/week + scheduled overtime
📞 On-Call: 24/7 support rotation required
💰 Pay Rate: $45–$50/hr INC
🔹 What You’ll Do:
Provide day-to-day support for IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networks, databases, and data center operations.
Manage lifecycle tasks such as installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT components.
Deliver production scheduling, control, backup/recovery, and IT service level support.
Monitor applications/systems, respond to escalations, and manage production incidents end-to-end.
Work with cross-functional IT teams on technology deployments, upgrades, patching, and audit/regulatory compliance.
Lead small teams: set task priorities, assist with interviews, and provide input for performance reviews.
Act as a first point of escalation and subject matter expert across 70+ supported applications.
🔹 What You Bring:
Hands-on experience with Linux (command-line in production) and WebLogic (application support).
Working knowledge of ITIL best practices, IT operations, and infrastructure support.
Familiarity with architectural tools, frameworks, and IT systems.
Strong client support and troubleshooting skills with a focus on production stability.
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with 1–3 years of applied technical experience.
