Software Test Engineer (ECU Diagnostics)

Procom is currently looking for a Software Test Engineer (ECU Diagnostics) for our client in the private sector.

THIS CONTRACT HAS A TBD START DATE AND GOES FOR 12 MONTHS LATER (GREAT CHANCE AT EXTENSION)
LOCATION: ONSITE (MUST BE IN THE OTTAWA AREA)
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

Qualifications required

🍂 Must have Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field of study.
🍂Must have 3+ years of experience in ECU Diagnostics within an associated industry (e.g., automotive, aerospace, heavy machinery, medical devices). Proven knowledge of:
CAN Bus Messaging and associated tools (e.g., CANoe, Vehicle Spy, CANape) experience.
🍂Must have Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) Protocol (ISO 14229).
🍂Must have ECU Configuration, Fault Management (DTCs), and Diagnostic Routines.
🍂Must have 3+ years of software test experience on Embedded software platforms (e.g., Linux, QNX, or Android OS).
🍂Must have 3+ years of experience with Test Case Development (design, review, traceability, reporting) and industry standard tools (e.g., HP Quality Center, Test rail, Azure DevOps Test Plans).
