We are hiring 2 Software Engineering Managers to lead delivery, drive innovation, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
This isn’t a “keep-the-lights-on” role. We’re looking for transformational leaders — curious, energetic, and forward-thinking — who can empower teams, bring vision to execution, and infuse AI and automation into modern engineering workflows.
🚀 What You’ll Do:
Lead a team of 7–10 engineers; hire, mentor, and manage performance
Drive Agile delivery across product roadmaps using Scrum best practices
Architect secure, scalable systems using the latest Microsoft .NET technologies
Review code, unblock delivery pipelines, and ensure engineering excellence
Champion AI adoption, automation, and modern DevOps practices
Align product, engineering, and business strategy to maximize impact
Contribute to a culture of inclusion, feedback, learning, and innovation
🛠️ What You Bring:
✅ 8+ years of professional software development
✅ 3+ years in a people management/engineering leadership role
✅ Strong hands-on expertise with .NET Core/.NET 7 or 8, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API
✅ Experience deploying solutions in AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation)
✅ Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus, etc.)
✅ Comfortable owning team hiring, promotions, performance management, and even tough conversations (terminations)
✅ Deep Agile/Scrum experience – you’ve run sprints, owned JIRA boards, and shipped reliably
✅ Fintech or regulated industry experience with awareness of compliance/security controls (e.g., PCI, SOC 2, PIPEDA)
🌟 Bonus Points For:
Experience implementing AI/GenAI into engineering workflows
Familiarity with secure coding practices and threat modeling
History of technical transformation or team turnaround
Experience scaling distributed/event-driven systems
Background at leading tech/startups (Shopify, Amazon, Wealthsimple, etc.)
